ABOUT ASHLEY MARY

Ashley Mary is a multi-disciplinary artist and master dabbler whose curiosity keeps her ticking. She says she strives to balance the imperfect, and creating is an act of beautiful irreverence. It is her belief that color is a universal love language; from our first memories to our daydreams, color palettes inform our lives and influence our moods and spaces. Color is her favorite tool to use in the creative process.

She explores compositions that inspire inner movement and outer delight. This process often starts with organic shapes cut from paper or scribbles done in pencil. By distilling complex feelings and ideas down to their simplest forms, she strives to balance imperfection and to perfect a pathway to surprise.

Her creative practice allows her the space to work from intuition and feel, allowing her to disengage from the analytical and engage with instinct. She sincerely hopes that through color and form, she can create spaces that enable others to find feelings of curiosity and play.
